Know Your Rights
(Under Title IX)
Being pregnant or a parent doesn’t mean you have to put your education on hold.
Title IX protects students from discrimination related to:
- Pregnancy, childbirth, miscarriage, or abortion
- Recovery time or related health needs
- Parenting responsibilities
You can’t be excluded from class, denied make-up work, or pushed out because you’re pregnant or parenting.
