Are you ready for Sanctity of Human Life Sunday?

This year, Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is recognized on January 19.  President Ronald Reagan designated January 22, 1984 to be set aside to celebrate God’s gift of life, commemorate the many lives lost to abortion, and commit to protecting human life at every stage – from conception to natural death. The date was selected to commemorate the day the Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions were handed down by the United States Supreme Court, making abortion legal in all 50 states, on January 22, 1973.

This January we will be celebrating Sanctity of Human Life Sunday with prayer, practical action, and by sharing hope and help for all those facing unplanned pregnancies.

With that in mind, we have compiled a set of video resources that may be helpful to churches or individuals who want to understand how the issue of abortion impacts us, communicate about the sanctity of human Life, or be a resource to others in difficult pregnancy situations.

Additional resources, including devotional guides, our fact sheets on the pro-Life issue in Alaska, or ways you can share about what’s going on at CPC this month, click the button below.

Messages on the Sanctity of Human Life

These videos are meant to be helpful to you in giving you some ideas for how to speak up about the Sanctity of Human Life, in a loving and truthful way.

Don’t forget to take a look at all the other resources we are also offering this year. We have bulletin inserts and shareable graphics about everything happening at CPC around this day, a fact sheet about the impact of abortion nationally and in Alaska, as well as brochures and materials about the Center and the resources we can offer.
