Can I just walk-in or do I need an appointment?

We do take walk-in pregnancy tests!  But here are three good reasons to call ahead for an appointment.

  1. You will have up to 45 minutes of uninterrupted time with one of our staff members and can ask all your questions with no rushing.  Pregnancy test appointments usually take 20-40 minutes, depending on your specific situation and the concerns you may have.  If you come as a walk-in, we can usually squeeze in 20 minutes for you, but this may leave you with more questions than answers.  If that’s the case, speak up!  We will schedule you for a second visit, or simply make notes of your questions so we don’t forget to answer them during your ultrasound appointment.
  2. We can sometimes do a same-day ultrasound. This will be at the nurse’s discretion.  She will check your dates and other health information and decide if this is a good option for you.  If today isn’t a good day for an ultrasound, the nurse will book you to come back on another day.  A pregnancy test and ultrasound appointment will be approximately one hour.
  3. You can fill in all the paperwork ahead of time on your phone. When you call for the appointment, we will text you back with some permission paperwork and medical questions. Answer as many of the questions as you are able or willing.  If you have concerns about your privacy, or someone finding out that you are pregnant, this information on confidentiality will provide some reassurance.

We would love to answer any questions you have. Give us a call today to schedule your free pregnancy test appointment.  Be sure to check out our other blogs to learn how we can help you!
