transmitted infection.

If I have unprotected sex during my fertile window, or during ovulation, will I get pregnant?
- Maybe.
- You can only get pregnant within a few days before or after you ovulate (commonly called the fertile window).
- It is difficult to know exactly when your fertile window is, or when you ovulate, unless you are tracking it with ovulation kits or blood tests.
- Many women have irregular periods for a variety of common reasons, making it difficult to know if you were or were not fertile on any given day.
- Having unprotected sex when you *think* you aren’t fertile, is no guarantee that you won’t get pregnant.
